Cluster Introduction Course (English) WiSe 19/20, November 7

Dear cluster users,

the next cluster introduction course will be held (in English) on October 23 and will take all afternoon. It covers the basics for new cluster users. We recommend that every cluster user attend this course at least once. The course takes place at least once per semester, alternating between German and English.

Target Audience:
Students and employees who have little or no experience with the cluster.
Prerequisites:

Basic knowledge of Linux is recommended.

It is possible but not required to bring your own laptop. If you do, please ensure you have internet access during the course (e.g. Eduroam)
Alternatively, desktop PCs are also available for all participants.

Please send an e-mail to jan.steiner@uni-siegen.de before November 6. If you bring a laptop, please mention this in your reply and also specify which operating system you use on it.

If you would like to participate but do not have time at the set date, please indicate this to us as well. We will schedule additional courses if enough people are interested.
